Tornjak

The Tornjak is a large, powerful, and agile dog breed with a well-proportioned body and a thick, long coat. Originating from Bosnia, Herzegovina, and Croatia, this breed is known for its stable temperament, being friendly, calm, courageous, obedient, intelligent, and full of dignity and self-confidence. They are fiercely protective of their property and flock, making them excellent guardian dogs. Tornjaks are loyal and affectionate towards their families, but they are wary of strangers. They are highly trainable with consistent training and positive reinforcement, and they require moderate exercise and regular grooming to maintain their thick, weather-resistant coats.
