Large Munsterlander
The Large Munsterlander is a versatile and energetic German hunting breed known for its exceptional pointing, tracking, and retrieving abilities. They are highly trainable with a strong instinct to please, requiring gentle handling and positive reinforcement techniques. Despite their lively nature, they are calm and gentle, making them excellent family companions. However, they require substantial exercise and mental stimulation to prevent destructive behavior, ideally suited for active families or hunters who can provide the necessary physical and mental engagement. Their dense, long coats require regular grooming, and they are generally healthy, though prone to hip dysplasia and cataracts.
