Drever

The Drever is a versatile and affectionate Swedish dog breed known for its distinctive appearance and strong hunting heritage. Originally developed for tracking and driving game, the Drever excels at following scent trails and is characterized by its long, low body and short legs, which allow it to navigate challenging terrain with ease. Friendly and loving, Drevers make excellent household companions, forming strong bonds with their families and generally getting along well with children and other pets. However, they do retain a strong prey drive and may not be suitable for homes with small animals. Despite their energetic nature, Drevers can adapt to apartment living with adequate exercise and mental stimulation.
