Polish Lowland Sheepdog
The Polish Lowland Sheepdog, also known as PON, is a distinctive and versatile breed with a thick, shaggy double coat. Originally bred for herding livestock, they are energetic and motivated, requiring lots of exercise and mental stimulation to thrive. Their confident and lively personalities make them excellent watchdogs and companions. However, their strong herding instincts and independent nature can lead to stubbornness and aloofness towards strangers. With proper training and early socialization, they can adapt well to various living environments, though they do best in homes with outdoor space. Regular grooming is essential to manage their dense undercoat and long outer coat.
