Czechoslovakian Vlciak

The Czechoslovakian Vlcak is a distinctive and highly energetic breed that originated from crossing German Shepherds with Carpathian Wolves in the 1950s. Known for their wolf-like appearance and demeanor, they are characterized by their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic, making them excellent in roles such as search and rescue, herding, and competitive dog sports. However, they require extensive socialization and are not suitable for novice dog owners due to their high energy levels, independence, and potential aggression towards same-sex dogs, especially upon reaching maturity. They thrive on human companionship and demand significant exercise and mental stimulation.
